CLAT 2022 ENTRANCE EXAM 

The Consortium of NLUs conducts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022 in the first week of May. If you are pursuing UG and PG law programs at National Higher Law Universities and several lower colleges, clat testing offers this opportunity for aspiring entrants.

WHAT IS CLAT EXAM?

The CLAT exam is one of the most challenging entry exams for accreditation at India’s leading law universities. Therefore, candidates need to know how to break CLAT 2022. In this year, CLAT 2022 will run offline in paper format. Candidates may apply for admission to the top 5 NLUs for 5 years LLB and LLM according to CLAT 2022 points.

Test pattern:

Marking system: Each question will carry 1 mark. Wrong question will ask for a penalty of 0.25 marks.

CLAT 2022 EXAM IMPORTANT DATES

Applicants can pass the CLAT 2022 test dates:

* Event Testing Days

-Application begins from Week 1 of January 2022

-The application expires in the 2nd week of March 2022

-Obtaining a consent card is for the week of April 3, 2022

-Test date is 3 May 2022

-The outcome date will be 4 June 2022

-Counseling begins on the week of July 1, 2022

Application Form

* Beneficiaries can view the CLAT 2022 online application form from Week 1 of January 2022.

* Candidates for the exam can complete the CLAT 2022 examination application form online.

* When registering, candidates must have their valid email ID and mobile number on the CLAT 2022 application form.

* Beneficiaries need to upload scanned images of passport size images and signatures in a given size and format.

* A corrective window is also provided to candidates, which gives them the opportunity to make corrections in accordance with CLAT 2022 application.

* Printing is required for those who will be baptized after completing the application form.

Application fee:

* Candidates must submit Rs 4000 in the GEN / OBC / PWD category as CLAT 2022 application fee.

* The fee for SC / ST category candidates is Rs. 3000 of CLAT 2022.

* You can pay the amount using online mode only (Debit / credit card or Net Banking)

Eligibility criteria:

Students must follow the standard eligibility process for the CLAT 2022 test:

-UG Law Program:

* Student eligibility should be a 12th board exam from a recognized board or university.

* The percentage of students in the GEN / OBC category is 45% and in the SC / ST category it is 40% marks to qualify for the examination

Syllabus

If you are going to appear for the CLAT 2022 exam, you should know the CLAT exam syllabus. The syllabus is divided into two sections as it consists of 6 sections:

* Current news and general awareness: This article includes general awareness, current topics, events, country and international updates, and much more.

* Understanding English: There are a variety of topics such as verse comprehension, word meanings, and much more.

* Statistics include basic statistics and related information for candidates.

* Legal skills include problem-solving skills, research competence, etc.

* Logical Reasoning includes syllogism, logical sequence or similes, etc.
