Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been appointed as the new ambassador for biotech company Mylab Discovery Solutions. The announcement comes just days after the Pune-based company launched its first COVID-19 self-testing kit, CoviSelf.” The collaboration with Akshay aims to raise awareness of Mylab’s products and kits, including CoviSelf.

Israel will be the First World Without Skiing from June 15

Israel will be the first country without a mask on earth in the time of Corona. The closure law here will expire on June 15. This was announced by Israeli Health Minister Yuli Edelstein. The law on importing masks has already been finalized in the country.

India ranks 67th in Coursera’s 2021 Global Skills Report

According to the ‘Global Skills Report 2021’ released by Coursera, India ranks 67th in the world. The report reveals that, in total, India ranks 67th in the world, with 38% skills, with middle positions in each domain, 55 in business and 66 in both science and data technology. Indian students have advanced skills in digital skills such as Cloud Computing (83%) and Machine Learning (52%) & 54% Mathematical skills. Improvements are needed in digital skills because in the Data Analysis and Statistics System, only 25% and 15% knowledge skills are calculated. However, Indians are lagging behind in data capabilities and need to focus on that.

IDFC The FIRST Bank to implement the COVID relief Ghar Ghar Diets client program 

IDFC FIRST Bank has announced the launch of the” Gar Gar diet” program, implemented with the financial support of employees, a program for its low-income clients, which helps to maintain the impact of COVID-19. The bank also announced a large-scale program for the families of employees who unfortunately lost their lives due to COVID-19, and many other initiatives related to corporate social responsibility. 

Home in World ’Book: by Amartya Sen’s memoir

One of the leading sociologists of our time, Nobel laureate Amartya Sen wrote his book ‘Home on Earth’. The book will be published in July by Penguin Random House. In the book, Sen shares how it was Rabindranath Tagore who named him Amartya. He also remembers the conversations at the famous Calcutta’s Coffee House and Cambridge, as well as the ideas of Marx, Keynes and Arrow all of his own ideas.
